Wonder Woman – Film Review

I’ve waited a long time to finally have a female-leading DC/Marvel film. I am glad they decided to do the origin films of the Justice League (If you haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, be sure to pay attention for the Justice League movie trailer– OR check out the trailer linked below).

There’s nothing for me to really complain about in the film, except for the constant slow-mo of fighting scenes. You know, the ones where the character almost freezes before they take their hit. To me, it felt like every single kick or punch was in slow-mo. Drives me nuts!

Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman, did her fair share of fighting prior to her acting career, by being in the Israeli army right after high school. She did so well, that she became a weapons trainer and then eventually instructed higher personnel. How cool is that?!

Chris Pine fights alongside Gadot as Steve Trevor. He’s a sight for sore eyes. You may also know him as Captain Kirk from the Star Trek series of the 2000s.

Basic Rating: (4/5)
