If you are a reader who is interested in the less mainstream genres of thrillers and mysteries, this novel is for you.
Lisa Lutz really blew my mind with The Passenger. You would think the name of the book itself would tell you what the book is really about, but it totally bypasses that and moves right into a bit of a different story line. I’d like to think that the writing is similar to that of Gillian Flynn or Paula Hawkins. If you had read some of my previous posts, you will see that I am a fan of that writing style.
The story follows a young woman, who is on the run. But from what? THAT is the question that you wonder through the entire book. I don’t want to give too much away, so I will leave it at that, because it is difficult for me to explain without doing so.
I definitely recommend this book. Working full-time, the only real time I have to read is in the evenings, so finishing this book took me about a little over a week. The chapters are short enough to keep your attention and you wanting to read more.

I didn’t even think to try it out on audiobook! Was it portrayed well through that? By that, I mean did it sound mysterious?
